As an experienced classroom teacher I have taught Biology, Chemistry and Physics to all abilities at Key Stage 3 and GCSE, as well as Biology at A Level. I have also tutored regularly throughout my teaching career, with each student making notable progress. Before training to be a teacher I spent a year working within the scientific industry as part of my degree. I worked as a research Scientist for a company researching the specific genes involved in pancreatic cancer. I left classroom teaching in 2017 to have my second child and now focus on tutoring.

I have an A grade Biology A Level, a First Class BSc (Hons) Developmental Biology with Industrial Experience from the University of Manchester and a PGCE Secondary Science (Biology) from the University of Reading.
